About Company
Interroll: the specialist in deep flow storage lanes
The Interroll flow storage system - 120 flow storage lanes arranged over four
levels - has capacity for 9,840 half Euro (Düsseldorf) pallets or 4,920 Euro
pallets with an impressive lane depth of 51 metres and 41 pallet places per
lane.
The Interroll flow storage system simple has more to offer than conventional
solutions - with its high level of goods availability and system-controlled
freshness through FIFO, as well as top performance in goods turnover by making
the best possible use of space. Several technical devices between the loading
and unloading stages provide added safety. At Verona's San Martino Buon Albergo
a fully automated stacker or rack feeder performs loading and unloading.
Customer views
'We are very impressed - both the storage and distribution of our product range
have noticeably improved with the Interroll flow storage system. The FIFO
principle is very important for us as grocers, the key being stock control. The
same applies to the space and energy-saving design, with just one aisle each for
loading and unloading.'
