The High Speed Conveyor is compatible with a wide range of products
manufactured by Peer Conveyors.
The conveyor is fitted with Itoh Denki high torque driving rollers slave
driving adjacent precision rollers. Each driving roller would power a zone 1m
long with a roller pitch of 83mm able to handle a distributed loading of approx.
25kg. The conveyor operates at a speed of 50 metres/minute, each 24v driving
roller having the facility of individual speed adjustment allowing gradual ramp
up or ramp down to conventional speed adjacent conveyorsThe High Speed Powered
Roller is available with driving motors pre wired to a control box situated
within the side frame - 3 motors per each 3m section. Drive to adjacent slave
rollers would be by jump belts. The 50mm dia roller is zinc plated with grooves
for jump belts. The 11mm across flats hexagonal axle is spring loaded for easy
removal and incorporates a keep plate for precise retainment.
Two options are available:
1. The conveyor supplied as above requiring a DC supply and start/stop
control by others.
2. The module including a small DC power pack mounted on a cross tie and
linked to the control boxes and motorised rollers. This includes a 240v plug and
socket for module connection back to a 240v starter (optional) - the wiring
contained within the side frames.The conveyor modules comprise 3m sections with
make-up modules in 500mm increments, together with 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree
bends and spur modules. A range of transfer devices are available to suit the
application.
Compatible with a range of Lineshaft accessories the conveyor offers quiet
high speed running and the reliability associated with Peer Conveyors.Zoned zero
line pressure facilities are an available option where high speed indexing is
required together with dynamic braking as a standard feature.
